FAQ's

What should I wear?

• Be comfortable!  I have never seen anyone wear anything that didn't photograph well so wear what you and your family like---show off your personalities!  However, I would caution against too many clashing patterns.  You don't want one person wearing polka dots, another person wearing stripes, someone else in a checked print, and another in leopard print. 

When should I pay you and do you accept checks?

• I would prefer if you can pay me on the day of our photo shoot.  It just makes it easier if I need to drop off your CD and you aren't home or something.  Then we aren't trying to meet up again for payment. 
• Yes, I accept checks.  You can make them out to "Jen Honeycutt".  Cash is fine too.  Whatever is easiest for you.

When will I get the CD?  How will you get it to me?

• I try to work on your pictures as soon as I can.  I have a family with 2 small children, so time is limited sometimes, but I know that you want the pictures ASAP.  I promise to have your pictures to you within a week, but sometimes it is even within a few days.  Post-production of pictures usually takes me anywhere from 2-4 hours of editing, so I want you to be pleased with the results!
• If you live nearby, I can drop off the CD to you or you can come pick it up from me as soon as it is ready.  If you live more than 10 minutes away, though, I will just mail you the CD and you can plan on receiving it within 1-2 days of me sending it.

Where should I print my pictures?

• I recommend www.mpix.com as a great website with quality color and products at a reasonable price.  However, these photos are now your property so you are free to print them wherever you would like!  I include a release form on the CD so you shouldn't have any problems printing them.  If you do encounter any problems, please let me know. 

Can I buy another CD for grandparents/friends/family?

• I would be happy to burn you an extra CD.  You may purchase additional CD's from me for an extra cost of $5 per CD.

Can I hire you to do other types of pictures (i.e. wedding, family reunions, head shots)?

• Sure!  Please contact me at jmcutt4@gmail.com and we can discuss your specific needs to see if we can work something out.

Do you do package deals?

• Yes.  Please contact me at jmcutt4@gmail.com.  I currently offer "Baby's First Year" packages and maternity/newborn packages, but am willing to work with you to meet your needs. 

Do you have a studio?

• Sort of.  I have a backdrop stand in my home and several large pieces of fabric and props.  My home studio gets great afternoon light and is wonderful for shoots that involve newborns up to age 1.
