What you can expect

Expect your session to be FUN!  Please try not to stress too much about the photo shoot.  Relax and let me do all the work!

 

 

I would love to meet you at an outdoor location, such as a park.  I have lots of ideas of places we can meet, but I also love to try out new places so let me know if you have a favorite spot in mind.  The best time of day to shoot is about an hour before sunset because the light is so pretty, but I understand that that time won't always work with schedules so we can talk and come up with the best time that works for both of us.

 

 

If we are doing newborn shots, though, I prefer to meet inside.  It is more comfortable for you and your infant with feedings and diaper changes.  We can meet in my home or yours, whichever you prefer.  I just need lots of "natural lighting" so if you have a few good windows that let in light, then we are all set.  If not, my house has some big windows with light flowing in at various times during the day. 

Expect the photo shoot to take about 45-60 minutes from start to finish.  However, a newborn shoot will usually take longer since babies can be so unpredictable.  And expect senior portraits to take several hours since we will drive to at least 2 different locations and there will be outfit changes.   

Afterward I will post-process your images and have a CD ready for you with approximately 50 edited images within a week or less.
