Stephen, Tahnee, & Samantha

I got to meet another great family this weekend for pictures!  Thanks to Sarah (again!) for the referral to her awesome brother and sister-in-law. 

Tahnee and I had been in talks for over a month to get pictures and the weather finally cooperated with us long enough to get some one year pics of Samantha (only about 6 weeks past her 1st birthday).  

Tahnee and Stephen were great sports as we endured the mud, but we were all thankful that it wasn't snowing and was finally warm enough to be outside. Samantha is an adorable one year old who loves to show off her new walking skills and make her opinions known (just like any other 12 month old I have ever met)!   I was glad that my "assistant", Grace, came along to shake rattles behind me, say the baby's name to get her attention, and make her smile.  It was fun to work with my 7 year old--she did great (and is cheap labor to boot)!

Hannah {6 months}

Do you remember the cutest little Santa Baby that you ever saw from a couple months ago?

Well, I got to see her again yesterday and take her 6 month photos! 

Baby Hannah is getting so big!  We had a fun time with lots of wardrobe changes and it was great to see her mom, Sarah, again too!

Patrick, Andrea, and Sean

Yesterday I had the chance to see some old friends that I hadn't seen in several years.  We used to all meet once a week at a house church together about 10 years ago.  Andrea and I keep up on Facebook and each other's blogs, but it was great to see her face-to-face and catch up more in person.  I got to meet her son, Sean, who turns ONE at the end of this month.  He is a real cutie pie!  His blue eyes and flaming red hair are precious!  I was bummed that we never got Sean to smile, but he was very cooperative with all of the pictures we took in the darn wind.  Then, of course, as soon as Sean was strapped into his carseat and ready to go home I got a big smile out of the little guy.  We all laughed!  You just never know how baby and toddlers are going to act!  At least he never cried!  :)

Daniel's Mini-Senior shoot {and a mini family session too}

I received a phone call today from a friend's family member wanting to see if I could do some quick senior shots of his son for the yearbook.  Thankfully I was available and it ended up turning into a mini-family photo session as well.  Steve, Lucia, and their sons were a pleasure to meet and take photos of at a park near their home.

Newborn John Matthew

A teeny, tiny 3 week old bundle of sweetness came over to my house yesterday.  I swear I can't remember my girls ever being that small, but I know they were.  His parents were referred to me (thank you so much, Sarah!!!!) and they were such a pleasure to work with.  Matt and Mary Katherine were open to letting me prop their baby boy up and pose him like a tiny doll.  And, John Matthew couldn't have been a better subject!   Here are some pictures of this precious boy:
